Sudbury

October 2007

The west end of the scene at Sudbury, where the Cartier subdivision mainline (double track at right) and the Nickel subdivision (single track at left) diverge a short way to the west of Sudbury yard. Also at this location, the Canadian National's spur line to CN Junction and Clarabelle crosses over the CPR tracks on a low steel trestle which is yet to be installed (the CN line over the bridge is pure scenery at this location, however CN Junction (the next visible location on the Nickel sub.) will feature an active interchange between CN and CP with a connection to staging for CN.
